Employees enrolled in the High Deductible Medical Plan are eligible to participate in the Healthcare Saving Account (HSA).

Life Insurance and AD&D


Disability Insurance

Pragmatics provides Basic Term Life and AD&D insurance at no cost to the employee. Employees may purchase optional Voluntary Life Coverage for yourself, your spouse and/or children.


Pragmatics offers both short-term disability (STD) coverage and long-term disability (LTD) coverage.

Employees at Pragmatics may elect to participate in the SmartBenefits Program if they use public transportation in the Washington Metro Area. This allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars onto their SmartBenefits cards.

Employees at Pragmatics are able to accrue paid time off for vacation, personal business, personal or a family illness.

Pragmatics observes ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year, including:

Bereavement Leave

Pragmatics provides paid bereavement leave for the loss of an immediate family member.

Full-time employees are eligible for paid jury duty leave.

Military Leave

Pragmatics grants a military leave of absence to employees who are absent from work due to service in the U.S. Uniformed Services.


Career Development, Training, and Tuition Assistance

Pragmatics encourages personal development through formal educational courses so that employees can maintain and improve job-related skills and knowledge. As a result, we provide employees with tuition assistance up to $5000 per calendar year.
