In honor of 2021 Chairman's Awards, let's meet Sarosh Mir, our Senior Recruiter, who has been with Pragmatics for almost four years. In his role, Sarosh focuses on delivering highly qualified candidates to our clients and internal teams through technical leadership and performance excellence.
Sarosh, what was your journey to Pragmatics like?
I joined Pragmatics as a Technical Recruiter in March 2018, supporting DISD and FedCiv teams. My past experience was recruiting in the commercial and financial sector but the technologies used were very similar. I also supported our Proposal Development Team in their staffing requirements.
What is your current role at Pragmatics? Why is your role important?
Currently, I am a Lead Recruiter with expertise in delivering highly qualified candidates to our customers and internal teams. My role plays a significant part in hiring highly skilled professionals who will be an asset to the company.
What do you enjoy about working at Pragmatics?

As a Lead Recruiter, what advice do you have for people who want to be successful in their careers?
Follow your dreams, don't give up, and don't be afraid of failure. Always try to learn new skills and manage your time wisely.
Outside of work, how do you unwind yourself?
I am an outdoor person who loves nature, sports, photography and spending time with family. I am an experienced photographer, and I am always available to take pictures at company events as a volunteer.
