Pragmatics Achieves ISO 20000:2005 Certification
for IT Service Center and Consolidated Desktop Support
Operations at Department of State
McLean, VA, December 9, 2010 – Pragmatics, a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and solutions for federal government customers, today announced that it has achieved ISO 20000:2005 certification for its consolidated service desk and desktop support operations at the Department of State (DoS). Pragmatics provides these services under the Hybrid Information Technology Services for State (HITSS) contract, Vanguard 1.0 task order. Under Vanguard 1.0, Pragmatics maintains over 25,000 desktops and responds to over 20,000 calls a month across more than 30 consolidated bureau IT Offices. By employing ITIL®-based and CMMI® Level 3 industry best practices, Pragmatics has effectively delivered service desk, desktop, and other support to the DoS since 2008. Customer satisfaction service level agreement metrics have consistently exceeded “very satisfied,” an indication of the value these support services have provided to DoS operations.
