Duong Selected as Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal
McLean, VA, October 2, 2008 – Pragmatics, Inc. today announced that Profiles in Diversity Journal has selected Kimmy Duong, Chief Financial Officer, as one of its 7th Annual Women Worth Watching® in 2009. Duong is featured in the September/October issue of the publication, which profiles women in senior executive management positions or who report to the president or CEO of an organization and have distinguished themselves in their careers or chosen fields.
Duong’s profile highlights her career path, which began at IBM in Vietnam and continued at IBM in the United States; her strong work ethic and business acumen; her experience in being mentored in her own career and serving as a mentor to others; and her dedication to philanthropic causes, particularly in the area of education.
Duong joined Pragmatics in 1987. She provides financial leadership for the company and has overall responsibility for all accounting and financial initiatives throughout the company. She also provides oversight for Pragmatics’ human resources department.
