Pragmatics Awarded ENCORE II Task Order for Systems Engineering and Integration
McLean, VA, October 4, 2010 – Pragmatics, a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and solutions for federal government customers, today announced the award of a task order by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The award was made under the ENCORE II Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, which provides IT support to the Military Services and Agencies, Department of Defense (DoD), and other agencies of the federal government. The support services Pragmatics will provide include security and information assurance, software maintenance, and maintenance of development and testing environments. The task order is valued at $8.1 million if all options are exercised.
Pragmatics will provide requirements analysis, software engineering, development, integration, testing, certification, fielding, and maintenance support for the continued refinement and sustainment of the Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES) Framework (JFW). JFW consists of the Permissions Manager (PM), which will be migrated to an attribute-based PM, and the Data Virtualization Layer, which will support the modernization of legacy applications.
Pragmatics Senior Vice President Mike Yocom said, “Pragmatics looks forward to continuing our longstanding relationship with DISA by supporting the JPES program as it leads the migration to the force projection system of the future. These services will help enable DoD to achieve its national security objectives.”
Chief Operating Officer Max Hall noted, “Pragmatics will use our in-depth knowledge of the overall goals and objectives of the JPES program, as well as our technical expertise, to ensure the highest level of service for DISA.“
