Pragmatics Receives $99 Million Award to Provide Domestic Desktop Support to the Department of State
McLean, VA, September 8, 2008 – Pragmatics, Inc. today announced that it was awarded a task order to provide support services for up to 37,000 desktops for the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Information Resources Management (IRM) and its domestic customer Bureaus throughout the DoS. This task order, Vanguard 1.0, was awarded under the Hybrid Information Technology Services for State (HITSS) contract and represents the first in a series of information technology (IT) consolidation initiatives. This performance-based task order consists of a one-year base award and two option years, with a value of approximately $99 million if all options are exercised.
The Pragmatics team will employ its CMMI® Level 4 and ITIL-based best practices to deliver service desk, desktop, and other services throughout the DoS.
