Pragmatics Completes Acquisition of
Innovative Solutions International, Inc.
McLean, VA, January 5, 2011 – Pragmatics, a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and solutions for federal government customers, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Innovative Solutions International, Inc. (ISI), a privately owned engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Vienna, Va.
Founded in 1994, ISI specializes in aviation-related satellite technologies. The company’s expertise is based on planning, modernizing, and implementing integrated communications, navigation, surveillance, and air traffic management (CNS/ATM) systems for federal government, commercial, and international customers. These include the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), NEC, Honeywell, and Federal Express. ISI has approximately 75 employees at locations in Atlantic City, N.J.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Vienna and Rosslyn, Va.; and Washington, D.C.
The acquisition will enhance Pragmatics’ program management and engineering services capabilities and add the development of new technologies that take advantage of satellite-based capabilities to deliver next-generation communications, navigation, and surveillance.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
