Pro-3e® Methodology
Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V)
The Pragmatics robust and proven Process, Project, and Product (Pro-3e) IV&V methodology proactively covers all aspects of the systems development life cycle (SDLC). Pro-3e addresses enterprise needs such as governance, policy and procedure uniformity, risk management, issue resolution, standardization, integration, and programmatic consistency and efficiency validation.
We employ requirements, testing, and configuration management tools; routine inspections and spot checks; criticality analysis and risk assessments; and a suite of comprehensive SDLC checklists to ensure consistency and completeness. Pro-3e incorporates a suite of standards, including SEI CMMI® Maturity Level 3, ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and ITIL® to provide early indicators of project issues at lower levels of process maturity and a framework of continual process improvement. We create and tailor IEEE 1012-2004-based IV&V plans to support evolving requirements. Pro-3e enhances performance while reducing cost, schedule, and performance risk for our customers.
