Reston, VA, April 16, 2013 – Pragmatics, a leading provider of services and solutions for federal government customers, today announced the appointment of Christopher Hegedus as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Federal Civilian Division. Hegedus will manage and lead all aspects of Pragmatics’ service to customers including the Departments of Homeland Security and State, the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and other federal agencies. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Joe Brock.
Hegedus is a proven leader, with a track record of exceptional customer delivery and above- average growth in his markets. His more than 16 years of experience include all aspects of the software development cycle, technical architecture, and strategic IT planning.

Hegedus joins Pragmatics from SAIC, where he managed a portfolio of federal customers while also serving as a Senior Program Manager on a high-profile contract. He held positions of increasing responsibility during his nearly eight years with SAIC, beginning in 2005. Prior to SAIC, Hegedus was an account manager with TEOCO Corporation and spent more than seven years at Accenture, where he led network service and high-tech communications initiatives.
