Discriminating conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following: (a) epithets, slurs, negative stereotyping, or threatening, intimidating or hostile acts that related to race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability or any other classification protected by Federal state, or local law; and (b) written or graphic material that is placed on walls, bulletin boards, or elsewhere on the employer’s premises, or circulated in the workplace that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion towards an individual or a group that falls under the classifications protected by Federal state, or local law. Pragmatics prohibits sexual harassment. Sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Sexual harassment can be any type of verbal or physical conducts that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual because of his or her gender. (Employee Handbook REF 700-4)
