| McLean, VA, April 21, 2008 - Pragmatics, Inc., a leading provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services for the Federal government, today announced that Michael L. Yocom has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and General Manager. He will lead the development of a new division focused on systems development and IT infrastructure operations in the defense community.
Yocom has extensive experience in program execution and customer satisfaction for systems integration and consulting projects for the Department of Defense (DoD), including the Army, Navy, and Defense Information Systems Agency. He also has experience with, and knowledge of, the Army and DoD information infrastructure and has provided support for the National Guard.
Yocom will report directly to Pragmatics Chief Operating Officer Paul Strasser. “Mike has spent many years working with Department of Defense customers, and his broad range of contacts and depth of knowledge will make him a valued member of the Pragmatics leadership team as we move forward,” said Strasser.

Prior to joining Pragmatics, Yocom was a Vice President for SRA International, Inc. He previously held contract implementation and systems integration and management positions at FC Business Systems and the Federal Systems Division of IBM. Yocom served in the U.S. Army for 24 years, where he specialized in telecommunications management and data processing, retiring at the rank of Colonel. |
