McLean, VA, July 31, 2008 – Pragmatics, Inc., a leading provider of information technology (IT) solutions and services for the federal government, today announced that Dr. Burton Levenson has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.  He will take a leading role in developing innovative strategies and expanding business development initiatives for the company’s Systems Engineering and Management Division.

During his 30-year career, Levenson has applied advanced technologies to open new market opportunities in both the government and private sectors.  His expertise includes market analysis, negotiation and contracting, project management, and budgeting and finance.  He has extensive experience in the foreign affairs and intelligence arenas.

Prior to joining Pragmatics, Dr. Levenson was Director of Business Development, National Security and Foreign Affairs, for STG, Inc., where he led the coordination of all new business for international and veterans’ affairs and focused on strategic business expansion in those markets.
