McLean, VA, June 23, 2008 – Pragmatics, Inc. today announced the award of a task order under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) program. Pragmatics will provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) technical support services to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Information Technology (OIT). The task order consists of a one year base award and four option years, with an award value of approximately $36 million if all options are exercised.
USCIS is responsible for the administration of immigration and naturalization adjudication functions and for establishing immigration services policies and priorities. Pragmatics will provide IV&V systems engineering support to enable USCIS to monitor and evaluate information technology (IT) governance and projects through assessments, process and procedure audits, project and performance management, and systems analysis and design. The services Pragmatics will provide include quality assurance, test and evaluation, IT security auditing, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) assessment, and IV&V strategic and management support.
