For over twenty years, Pragmatics has provided state-of-the-art solutions for the Federal Government. We provide systems engineering, program management support, software engineering and systems integration, information assurance, and infrastructure management. Pragmatics has numerous contract vehicles in both defense and civilian agencies. We strive to meet customer satisfaction and to provide rewarding careers for our employees. We are externally assessed at Level 4 of the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model Integration (SEI CMMI) and ISO 9001:2000, thus providing our customers standard processes and procedures, proven tools, and trained and experienced staff that minimize risk and assure delivery of all projects on time and within budget.
By using CMMI Level 4 processes and procedures, Pragmatics provides our customers with improved understanding of risks associated with projects, better understanding of impact of changes, and improved usage of lessons learned. Data from the SEI indicates CMMI Level 4 gives customers added value by having an estimated 20% less in cost, 37% decrease in schedule time, a 62% improvement in productivity, 50% boost in quality, and a 14% increase of customer satisfaction.
Pragmatics' ISO 9001:2000 certification ensures high quality services and processes by requiring a robust, audited Quality Management System (QMS) is in place. ISO 9001:2000 is a proven foundation for an effective QMS. Pragmatics uses the QMS system by planning processes, identifying how they relate to each other, set goals, measure the processes and make improvements to ensure customer requirements are understood and met. It allows our customers to benefit from increased productivity by having less scrap and rework, increased satisfaction and continual improvement. We involve all levels of executive leadership with quality management for better operations and improved performance. Management reviews hands on data to see progress or lack of progress towards our customer goals. It is the duty of Pragmatics' m anagement to make sure that systems have been established to determine and meet customer requirements Pragmatics has completed over 330 projects for
