Kim Nguyen, Vice President
Dr. Kim Nguyen joined Pragmatics in 1997 and is vice president of special programs. In this role, he is involved with business development, mergers and acquisitions, pre-IPO activities, and external relations.
Dr. Nguyen previously served as chief business development officer (CBDO). He was instrumental in winning more than 25 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract vehicles, as well as large contracts with the Departments of Treasury, Homeland Security, and Defense. He has managed Pragmatics enterprise testing contract at Customs and Border Protection and a software development contract with the Treasury Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Nguyen was an IAC Voyager in 2005, winning the Co-Pilot of the Year Runner-Up Award. He was appointed by Governor Mark Warner to the Virginia Asian Advisory Board in 2003.
He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
