Joe Brock, Senior Vice President

Joe Brock joined Pragmatics in 2001 as director of operations. He was subsequently promoted to vice president and, most recently, senior vice president and general manager.  He leads the Pragmatics Foreign Affairs and Financial Systems Division, which provides IT services and solutions to the United States Agency for International Development, the Departments of State and Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Prior to joining Pragmatics, Brock was a manager at L-3 Communications (formerly Titan Systems Corporation), where he successfully established and grew capabilities in information assurance, systems engineering, and network engineering.  He previously held several federal government positions, including systems engineer leading the development and deployment of information technology solutions throughout the Army.  

After completing his service with the Army, he graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has completed executive courses at MIT's Sloan School of Management.  Brock is an ACT/IAC Fellow, class of 2006, served as the Industry Vice Chair for the 2009 ACT/IAC Partners Class, and is the Industry Chair for the 2010 ACT/IAC Partners Class.
